Senator Antonio Morales expressed a rejection of amnesties and pardons for all representatives of the Oaxaca people from the Murat family. His colleague Laura Estrada emphasized that the Murat family in this state represents a synonym of corruption. She noted that the public debt of the state amounts to about 32 billion pesos, including arrears owed to the Tax Administration Service (SAT), the Institute of Social Security and Services for State Workers (ISSSTE), FOBISTE, and banks.
Alfonso Silva, senator from the Green Political Party, added that the MORENA party in Oaxaca, as well as the state congress, have already expressed their discontent. An expert even posted a photo in support of Andrés Manuel López Beltrán, secretary of the Organization; however, he emphasized that "the movement cannot remain silent," referring to "good sense" and that the party must adhere to statutory principles.
Miguel Ángel Yunes, senator from the National Action Party (PAN), after a year switched to the MORENA party, continued to provoke controversy in the Senate in this environment. Marco Cortes, who expelled him from PAN, made him a leader, comparing him to the character from the Mexican film "India Maria."
At the same time, Gerardo Fernández Noroña, president of the Senate’s presidency, believes that "nothing is happening" and calls on everyone to maintain their political careers, as "there is nothing like that in Morena, where you come in and immediately become pure."
